Red Faction (Windows 10 fix)

First off i'm going to say once installed move it to another folder or drive and I don't know why but this is what worked for me.  For some reason I wasn't able to move files to the installed folder even though I moved files to it beforehand.  After running Dash Faction it for some reason disappeared and for some reason the game didn't run.  But once moved I no longer have issues. Anyways your going to want to download two files.

First being Dash Faction

Place in the root of the RedFaction folder.  Make sure to go to options and change the launcher to the current location of your RF.exe if it hasn't changed.  If you don't change the game won't load.

Next your going to want to download Faction Files

Its available here: https://www.factionfiles.com/ff.php?action=file&id=517545

Place in the root of the RedFaction folder.  If asked to replace original RF.exe click yes.

Make sure the RF and Dash Faction are not running with administrator access or other compatibility settings.

Now I can confirm this works with the retail version this may also work with GOG and Steam versions as well.  Have fun and game on.
