DLC Quest (DCeric Game Preview)

This is the first episode of Game Preview which will feature shorts of some of my favorite games.  On this episode of Game Preview I show you DLC Quest which is available on Xbox 360 and Steam.

The DCeric Show: Duke Nukum (Duke Nukem)

On this episode of The DCeric Show we go back to 1991 with Duke Nukum for PC created by Apogee Software Ltd and I also give you the history of the Duke Nukem series.

NOTE:  I realize there is some Duke Nukem games missing from other platforms but I thought I got all the ones that were the most important to the series.

Wind and Water Battles (PC) Video Preview

Wind and Water Battles is available for free for Windows PC and available for purchase for the GP2X and Dreamcast.  Wind and Water Battles contains a story mode which has a world map and contains levels which have their own unique objectives.

Story mode also contains a in game store where you can purchase items that will help you progress through the game.  There is also mini games which can be unlocked after defeating levels on the map.

The game also contains an arcade mode where you can play a 1 player game without objectives or battle against a friend.  There is also a puzzle mode where you have special objectives you don't do them right you fail the objective and will have do retry until you do better.

Recommend this to anyone who is a fan of puzzlers

Dreamcast SD Compatible: Yet Another SFCave

Yet Another SFCave is a clone of SFCave and was ported to Dreamcast by GPF.  Its clone of that simple internet game where you guide a straight line through a cave and dodge objects in the way.  Once you hit an object its game over.  Even though not the greatest looking homebrew and yet a pretty basic game its a pretty fun game.

Dreamcast SD Compatible: Joggle

Joggle was created by Wormtoe sometime in the early 2000's.  It was released sometime ago on some homebrew sites but is no longer available.  I had found this game through a collection and got it to work with my SD Card.

Dreamcast SD Compatible: Ghosts and Goblins Driller (unreleased homebrew)

Ghosts and Goblins Driller was a mod port of Miss Driller. Ian Micheal had plans to release this but never happened do to uncertain circumstances.

Dreamcast SD Compatible: Ghouls 'N' Trix (Unreleased Homebrew)

Ghouls 'N' Trix was a mod port of Modest Blocks.  Ian Micheal had plans to release this but never happened do to uncertain circumstances.

RefleX v1.01 Trial Version (PC) video preview

I decided to show you another crazy shooter called RefleX.  This game is somewhat identical to Ikaruga.  In this game you have a shield that not only helps you block enemies bullets but the enemies bullets can repel off the shield destroy any near by enemies.
